They asked, “What’s the point of delaying our issue a day?” Well, I must admit, there was no good point when it came right down to it. Well, after reading a couple hundred letters from confused or unhappy readers the last two weeks about the change, I knew I had to amend my plan. My intent was to provide those who support us with a special, tangible benefit. And so I announced recently the new ad-free member edition on Saturday with the free edition coming a day later, on Sunday. Well, the time has flown by and lately I have felt increasingly guilty. Well, I haven’t. For the last few weeks I have told you that this newsletter would split into two editions, one supported by advertising, the other without any advertising for our 3,700 voluntary subscribers, our members.įor years, I have been promising our members a free edition of this newsletter.
